And more NEOWISE…

Another night, another trip to Norton Cemetery. Haze and somewhat reduced transparency tonight didn’t dampen enthusiasm. Here are a couple of the resulting views:

This photo was taken without any tracking, just on a fixed tripod, enabling a nice horizontal shot and full view of the knoll. Close examination reveals some star trails. 36mm, F4.5, 20 S, ISO 800. Img_3510.
The camera was piggy-backed on the telescope. The motorized mount reduced star trailing. But the equatorial mount resulted in the camera sitting at nearly 45 degrees, so I had to rotate and crop to create a pleasing image and horizontal ridge line. 36 mm, F4.5, 20 S, ISO 800. Img_3512.
