Maybe it’s a sailors delight…or maybe just a smokey sky. Wildfires from Canada are at it again this summer. As of August 15, we’re seeing high smoke blanketing the area. Not good. But we do get a pretty moon out of it.

Hi Dave, I often promise myself that I will get out of bed (I get in by 8 since I get up at 4) and come to be with you and other folks on the hill. I am so sorry to hear you are leaving the area. It has been one of my greatest pleasure getting to know you. I wish you all the best in your future with you family. Hey Nathan – thanks so much, it’s been my honor knowing and working with you, great Adirondack photographer that you are! And thanks for the kind offer. We do plan to be back here from time to time, camping stargazing, and visiting and may well take you up on it! As well, we’ll keep in touch.
